Expand your fundamental echocardiographic skills and knowledge in this hands-on half-day course. Receive active training with an echosonographer and pro tips for image optimization. Learn to interpret certain pathologic images such as quantifying mitral regurgitation, aortic stenosis, deceleration time, and pressure half-time. Practice performing measurements and tracings using pathologic examples. Expert faculty will review the basics of transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) imaging using a TEE simulator and discuss the indications and risks of performing TEE.
