Biomarkers in critical care have been a hot topic over the years. Biomarker research for critically ill trauma patients has finally shown validity and will become more mainstream during the next few years. This session will delve into the latest advancements in blood biomarkers pertinent to critically ill trauma patients. Speakers will focus on groundbreaking research and clinical applications in three areas: traumatic brain injury, kidney, and nutrition/metabolic function and outcomes.
