Explore best practices for the ICU management of adult and pediatric patients with decompensated cirrhosis and acute‑on‑chronic liver failure. This session will examine the syndrome’s complex and varied pathophysiologic pathways, its rapid progression to multiorgan failure, and the significant mortality risk associated with complications such as hepatorenal syndrome/acute kidney injury (HRS/AKI).
