Anne Alexandrov is a Professor of Nursing and Neurology in the Colleges of Nursing, Medicine, and Graduate Health Sciences at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She holds a PhD focused on intracranial hemodynamics which supports her primary program of research related to augmentation of intracranial blood flow. Her secondary program of research is focused on improvements in acute stroke systems of care. She completed post-graduate fellowships in vascular neurology (supervisor: James Grotta, MD) and neurosonology (supervisor: Andrei Alexandrov, MD) at the University of Texas, Houston. Dr. Alexandrov also serves as the program director of the NET SMART advanced practice acute stroke fellowship which has graduated over 150 advanced practice providers since 2008.
