Sonia Everhart, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, FCCM is a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC. She splits her time between Atrium's Virtual Critical Care program and the ICU at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Sonia received her BS in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy and her PharmD from the University of South Carolina. Since learning about Atrium's tele-critical care program in 2012, Sonia has been interested in how this technology can improve and expand the role of the pharmacist in patient care. In 2015, Sonia, along with her colleague Desiree Kosmisky, established the Tele-Critical Care Pharmacy program for Atrium Health. Sonia is actively involved with the Tele-Critical Care Collaborative Network, was the inaugural chair for the Tele-Critical Care Section of SCCM and is involved with the pre-congress forum planning for the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology Section. She is also involved locally with the Carolinas/Virginias Chapter of SCCM.
