I am a physician-scientist with expertise in Reinforcement Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Clinical Informatics, Critical Care Medicine, and Nephrology. I serve as the Director of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics at the Institute for Critical Care Medicine and the Director of Clinical Informatics Research in the Division of Data-Driven and Digital Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I am also a Principal Investigator at the Augmented Intelligence in Medicine and Science Lab at Mount Sinai in New York, NY.
In these roles I lead the pioneering Artificial Intelligence and Informatics research with a special focus on Reinforcement Learning, and their integration into clinical practice.
