Dr. Lisa Burry a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Mount Sinai Hospital and an Associate Professor in the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto.
Dr. Burry obtained her BScPharm from Memorial University of Newfoundland (1994), PharmD degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto (2000), and PhD from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto (2023).
Dr. Burry has extensive expertise in patient and drug safety in emergency, trauma and critical care environments. Her research interests focus on delirium, sedation, analgesia, and physical restraint in the critical care unit. She is a member of the Canadian Critical Care Trials Group and served on the steering committee for multiple intervention trials for sedation and delirium in the ICU. She has published 250 primary research publications in peer-reviewed journals in her area of expertise.
