Emily Goldhar is a Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Additionally, she was awarded her Master of Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. For her MPH, Emily focused on the Social and Behavioral Health Sciences with a special interest in Maternal and Child Health. Emily has been involved in "PICU HEALS: Healing-centered care, Equity, ACEs, incLusion, and Social influencers of health" since its inception in 2019, contributing to and leading projects to advance the culture of caring at Lurie to one that is more healing-centered and trauma-informed. Emily co-founded PCC in the PICU: Personalized and Compassionate Care in the PICU which is a national multi-site working group committed to transforming PICUs across the nation into more healing-centered environments.
