Chris has been a respiratory therapist for 27 years, the last 24 years with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Chris received his bachelor’s in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and his Respiratory Care Practitioner education from Mid-State Technical College, Marshfield, WI. He served 14 years on the neonatal/pediatric transport teams before transitioning to his current role as an Education Clinical Specialist.
Chris is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology & Pediatrics with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and a Fellow of the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science - Academy of Educational Excellence. He also serves as a pediatric lecturer & adjunct faculty member for the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences/University of Minnesota. Chris is a past President of the Minnesota Society for Respiratory Care and currently serves as a consultant to the NBRC’s Neonatal/Pediatric Examination Committee.
