Rajeev K. Garg, MD, MS, FANA, FAAN is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences, Division of Neurocritical Care and Section of Cognitive Neurosciences at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He serves as the Division Chief for Neurocritical Care, Medical Director for the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit, and Director for the 2-Brain Neuro-Emergencies Transfer Program. Dr. Garg received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed his residency in Neurology and fellowship in Neurocritical Care at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He received a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Rush University and is board-certified in neurology, vascular neurology, and neurocritical care. Dr. Garg is currently Past Chair for the Neurosciences Section for the Society of Critical Care Medicine and member of the SCCM Program Committee. In addition, he is an active NIH-funded investigator actively involved in research studying clinical, neuroimaging, and serological biomarkers to predict cognitive outcomes in acute intracerebral hemorrhage.
