Andrea Braun, MD FCCM FCCP FACP, is an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, USA. She provides clinical care as an intensivist in the medical and cardiac ICUs at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, Houston, TX. She has served as the Associate Program Director for the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program at Baylor College of Medicine since 2018 and is passionate about training the next generation of critical care physicians. She has mentored many critical care fellows and is particularly interested in finding ways to help female trainees and junior faculty succeed in the male-dominated field of critical care. Dr. Braun was twice chosen by the fellows as best critical care faculty, and she has been recognized by Baylor College of Medicine with the Early Career Faculty Award for Excellence in Patient Care and the Women of Excellence Award.
