Kathleen D. Liu, MD, PhD, MAS is Professor of Medicine and Anesthesia at the University of California, San Francisco. She is the Medical Director of the Apheresis/Hemodialysis Unit and the Medical Intensive Care Unit. Her research interests include clinical trials for acute kidney injury and the acute respiratory distress syndrome.
