Beatrice Adams, BCCCP, BCPS, PharmD

Tampa General Hospital, Florida

Dr. Beatrice Adams is a critical care clinical pharmacist at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Her primary area of interest is Burn Intensive Care. In addition to clinical responsibilities, she serves as the Manager of Pharmacy Patient Care Services, overseeing ICU pharmacy workflows and a team of critical care pharmacists. Dr. Adams has been practicing in ICU since 2014 and has held this leadership role since 2023.

She is deeply involved in pharmacy education and residency training, serving as both the program coordinator and director for pharmacy practice residents at her institution. Dr. Adams holds board certifications in pharmacotherapy and critical care and is a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM). Her scholarly contributions include publications in peer-reviewed journals, reflecting her commitment to advancing pharmacy practice and patient care.

Beyond her work with SCCM, Dr. Adams is an active member of the American Burn Association (ABA), where she continues to advocate for excellence in burn care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
