Richard Branson MSc RRT is Professor of Surgery at the Univeristy of Cincinnati in the Division of Trauma, Critical Care & Acute Care Surgery and Editor of Respiratory Care. He has publsihed over 300 peer-reviewed publications and edited two texts. His research is primarily in mechanical ventilation technology, transport of the critically ill patient and mass casuatly respiratory failure. He is a long time member of SCCM (>35 years) and past Chancellor of the Board of Regents. He is a member of the Joint Societies Task Force for Mass Critical Care and the Editorial Board of Critical Care Medicine. Mr Branson is Editor-in-Chief of Respiratory Care.
