Rohul Amin MD, DFAP, FACP is a psychiatrist and internist with specialized expertise in complex medical-behavioral health integration, organizational resilience, and Graduate Medical Education.
He is currently in private practice providing psychiatric and metabolic care. He also serves as an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Medicine at the Uniformed Services University.
In his prior roles, Dr. Amin held key leadership positions, including Director of Graduate Medical and Dental Education at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he oversaw over 50 ACGME-accredited programs and hundreds of trainees. This included oversight of the mental health care of GME faculty and trainees. He has also previously served as the Medical Director of the Fort Belvoir inpatient addiction residential treatment facility.
Dr. Amin is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (DFAPA) and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). His research interests include physician wellness, curriculum development for psychiatric care in primary care, and organizational resilience.
