Hayley Scott M.D. is an Attending Physician and Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine within the Division of Emergency Critical Care at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr Scott completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital where she was Chief administrative resident. Her scholarly research during residency focused on the use of EFAST to diagnose traumatic pneumothoraxes and was presented at the 2024 World Trauma Congress meeting, as well as the annual meeting of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma. She went on to complete a fellowship in Advanced Resuscitation and Emergency Critical Care at Stony Brook under Dr's Brian Wright and Somair Malik. She continues to be involved in fellowship and residency education within the Division of Emergency Critical Care. Her current research focuses on airway management in the Emergency Department.
