Nicholas R. Nelson, PharmD, BCCCP, BCPS is an Assistant Professor at Wingate University School of Pharmacy and a clinical pharmacist in the medicine ICU at Advocate Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and completed his pharmacy residency at UK HealthCare in Lexington, Kentucky, critical care pharmacy residency at University of Michigan Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and an academic fellowship at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. His current research interests include the diagnosis, prevention, and management of medication therapy problems to improve the safety and effectiveness drug theraoy in critically ill patients.
