Christine Tran, ScM, is a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston, MA, where she supports and manages multidisciplinary research at the intersection of neurology, critical care, and population health. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a minor in Health Disparities in Society, and later earned her Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Brown University.
Christine’s research experience spans neuropsychiatric genetics, cerebrovascular health, and health-systems innovation. Prior to joining MGH, she served as a clinical research assistant in the University of Florida Department of Psychiatry, where she investigated obsessive-compulsive–related disorders and hoarding disorder. At MGH, her work focuses on understanding how biological, environmental, and psychosocial factors shape cerebrovascular function; examining the role of organizational health literacy; and identifying determinants of overall well-being to improve outcomes for patients with acute neurological injury.
Christine is deeply committed to advancing equitable, patient-centered care, with particular attention to underserved and immigrant communities. She aspires to a career in medicine informed by interdisciplinary inquiry, compassionate communication, and a dedication to improving the care experience for patients and families navigating critical illness.
