Lyubov (Luba) Tashlyk has been in the nursing profession for 18 years. She began her career as a new graduate on the medical-surgical floor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. After 5 years, she advanced in nursing and leadership skills and joined the Surgical ICU as an intern. She has been in SICU for 12 years. Luba had a great opportunity to complete the Emerging Leaders program, “Rising Stars,” and advance her career to a clinical leadership role as CNIV in 2017. In 2019, she was voted by unit staff and hospital leaders to become an Associate Director of SICU. Luba has completed the Fellowship for Managers at AONL. She has been presenting her QI projects locally and nationally: Magnet conference, NTI, AONL, ACNL, STN, and IHI.
Luba completed DNP Program in 2024.
Luba’s passion is to be the voice for her nurses. She enjoys her work towards making SICU the best place for patients as well as the best workplace for her staff.
