I am a general surgery resident at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. I earned my MD from Indiana University School of Medicine, where I was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. I completed a research fellowship through the Medical Student Training Applied to Research (MedSTAR) program in transplant surgery, focusing on immunologic mechanisms of xenotransplantation. My work has been published in Transplantation and Frontiers in Immunology. My clinical interests include critical care, transplant, and cardiothoracic surgery, with a focus on the management of complex surgical complications in the intensive care setting.
