Janice Huang, PharmD (she/her/hers)

University of California San Diego Health

I am the current PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at UC San Diego Health. I completed my PGY-1 pharmacy residency at the Indiana University Adult Academic Health Center in Indianapolis. My passion lies at the intersection of critical care and cardiology, particularly in optimizing medication regimens for patients on mechanical circulatory support, such as ECMO and Impella devices. I am also deeply interested in the challenges of managing infectious diseases in the ICU, where I work to balance antimicrobial efficacy with the unique pharmacokinetics of critically ill patients. My goal is to advance patient care through evidence-based medicine and collaborative practice
