Kylie LaFontaine, MSN-Ed, RN is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Stony Brook University Hospital. She has nine years of nursing experience and focuses her efforts on quality improvement, evidence-based practice and nursing leadership. She has led unit-based initiatives to reduce pressure injuries, improve early mobility in the ICU and enhance patient safety.
