Christopher Laugier, DO
Energency Medicine, PGY1
Advocate Christ Medical Center
Chicago, IL
My family is French, and I grew up moving around Europe with my family throughout my childhood because of my father's work. I found my way to Chicago for undergraduate and graduate school and built a life here. I worked in local hospitals as a tech and taught anatomy and physiology at Elmhurst and Loyola University while applying to medical school. I attended medical school at Rowan University in New Jersey. I was fortunate enough to be involved with local and national leadership in emergency medicine with the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, resident and student association. I was fortunate enough to work alongside champions of EM and many dual trained EM-Critical Care docs. I have developed interests in resusciation science and medical eduatio, and found my way to Christ Medical Center in Chicago for emergency medicine residency. Christ as a robust critical care geared emergency with multiple dual trained faculty, and I plan to pursue Critical Care followship following ny time at Christ.
