Dr. Priya Mohan, PhD, MD
PGY-2 HCA FLORIDA AVENTURA HOSPITAL
Dr. Priya Mohan completed his PhD in Organic Chemistry at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, in 2006. He then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship under Dr. Kurosu focusing on the synthesis of natural peptides. Following his postdoctoral training, Dr. Mohan joined Eburon Organic International Chemical Company in Lubbock, Texas, where he served as the Head of the Research and Development Division.
In 2018, driven by a passion for medicine and patient care, Dr. Mohan transitioned into the medical field and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of the Caribbean in 2023. He is currently an Internal Medicine resident at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital iand is expected to graduate in 2026.
Dr. Mohan’s unique background in both chemistry and medicine fuels his research interests at the intersection of biomedical science and clinical care, with a focus on advancing innovations in critical care medicine.
