Speaker Biography – Loyce T. Mofor, MSN, AGACNP-BC, CCRN
Loyce Mofor is an accomplished Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. With over nineteen years of experience in advanced practice and critical care nursing, she is dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and delivery of care for surgical ICU patients.
Ms. Mofor earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Henderson State University in 2006, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Adult-Gerontology Acute Care from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2016. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at UTHealth Houston. Her leadership roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Texas Chapter of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and contributing to the Symposium Planning Committee. She also holds positions as Treasurer for the Houston Area Nurse Practitioners and Assistant Secretary for the Association of Cameroon Nurse Practitioners in the U.S. Her clinical expertise spans cardiovascular, surgical, and medical intensive care, complemented by her passion for mentoring the next generation of critical care professionals.
