Neha Madugala is a third-year medical student at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Originally from Sacramento, California, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis. During that time, she worked as a caregiver for a woman with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which sparked her interest in neurology. Following graduation, she joined the neuromuscular clinical trials team at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on trials for ALS. At Boston University, Neha has continued to pursue her passion for neuroscience through research with Dr. Greer on brain death and post-cardiac arrest care. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, yoga, and pottery.
