Duru Erkan, M3, is a third-year medical student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She serves on the Student Leadership Board at the 12th Street Health and Wellness Center and holds various leadership roles on campus as President of the Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group, President of the Women in Anesthesia Interest Group, and Treasurer of the Integrative Medicine Interest Group. A former Fulbright Scholar to the European Union, Duru is passionate about global health and the intersection of medicine and international policy.
