Ronald M. Roan, MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist, neurointensivist, and critical care physician. He serves as Chief Intensivist and Vice President of Quality, Education, and Advancement for Southern Anesthesia Management, where he leads a multiprofessional critical care practice spanning four hospitals. With over 20 years of clinical and military medical experience, Dr. Roan has been instrumental in developing training pathways for advanced practice providers, implementing ICU quality initiatives, and directing high-acuity care delivery. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and continues to serve as a physician leader within the Air National Guard.
