Dr Sliter is a trauma surgeon from rural Kansas. He attended Emporia State University and later received his medical degree from The University of Kansas. He then completed general surgery residency at The University of Kansas in Wichita. He also completed a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He is a member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He currently serves as the trauma medical director at Wesley Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center in Wichita, KS.
