Lynsey Cutler, PharmD is a PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where she also serves as the 2025–2026 PGY-2 Chief Resident. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at University Hospitals and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Findlay.
Dr. Cutler’s clinical training spans medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma, neuro, and emergency intensive care settings, with focused experience in high-acuity neurologic injury, distributive shock, hypertensive emergencies, and post-operative cardiothoracic care. Her professional interests include sedation and analgesia optimization, neurocritical care pharmacotherapy, central fever management, shock resuscitation, and emergency medicine.
She is actively engaged in several institutional research initiatives, including projects evaluating sedation and analgesia practices in the critically ill, high-dose nitroglycerin use for sympathetic crashing acute pulmonary edema (SCAPE), and steroid discontinuation strategies in distributive shock. Her work has been presented at regional and national venues such as the Vizient Pharmacy Network and the Great Lakes Pharmacy Residency Conference.
Dr. Cutler is passionate about education and interdisciplinary collaboration, having delivered CE-accredited presentations, institutional topic discussions, and patient case conferences for pharmacists, physicians, and trainees. She also contributes to professional service through committee involvement, student mentorship, and community outreach programs.
Driven by a commitment to advancing evidence-based critical care pharmacy practice, Dr. Cutler aims to improve patient outcomes through research, clinical excellence, and leadership within multidisciplinary ICU teams.
