Jennifer Bahamonde, PharmD, is a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at Memorial Regional Hospital, where she provides evidence-based pharmacotherapy to critically ill patients. Her professional interests include advanced ICU pharmacotherapy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clinical research, with a strong commitment to continued practice in critical care settings and future involvement in precepting and mentoring pharmacy learners.
Dr. Bahamonde earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University (Class of 2024) and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Broward Health Medical Center, graduating in 2025, where she gained broad experience across acute and critical care services. Her academic training also includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina and an Honors Associate’s degree from Miami Dade College’s Dual Language Program.
Her scholarly work includes a manuscript in development evaluating seizure prophylaxis in traumatic brain injury, as well as ongoing research examining the use of hypertonic saline in the management of cerebral edema. Dr. Bahamonde is committed to advancing clinical pharmacy practice through scholarship, education, and mentorship.
