I’m a second-year Internal Medicine resident at Memorial Healthcare System, Pimbroke Pines, Florida, with a strong interest in cardiology, especially heart failure and cardiovascular imaging. Im a third-generation physician, my path started years ago in my parents’ small clinic in Mexico, where I learned early what it meant to care for a community. Since then, I’ve trained in very different settings, from a military hospital to rural medicine to U.S. academic centers, and each step has pushed me to stay curious and work harder. Cardiology became my focus because I genuinely enjoy the mix of physiology, imaging, and problem-solving.
