Joshua Kimbrell is a second-year medical student at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is an active member of the Bronx Center for Critical Care Outcomes and Resuscitation Research (BCCORe), working on ongoing clinical trials and studies focused on advancing resuscitation science and health equity. He has published several manuscripts with specific expertise in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and transcutaneous pacing. Prior to medical school, he worked for several years as a paramedic with experience in quality improvement and in prehospital clinician education.
