Dr. Daniel Udrea is an Emergency Medicine & Critical Care Medicine Physician at Indiana University Indianapolis. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Southern California and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he also joined the Anesthesia Critical Care Fellowship. His research interests include cardiac arrests, the intersection of AI with medicine, and Status Epilepticus. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Udrea is actively involved in academic medicine. He has led various academic innovations, including the development of 3D printed models for pediatric intubation, femoral joint injection, and congenital cardiac anomalies. His clinical focuses include medical education, resuscitation, and the development of high-impact, low-cost AI tools to inform clinical decision making in the Emergency Department. Dr. Udrea is involved in advocating for his specialties and his patients through county, state, specialty, and national medical societies such as the Society for Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and the American Medical Association (AMA).
