Melissa Soper, MSN, APRN, ACNP-BC is a nurse practitioner with the department of anesthesia, peri-operative, critical care, and pain management at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. She is an APP supervisor in the cardiovascular ICU and provides intensivist care for adult patients with cardiac surgical, cardiothoracic transplant, and mechanical circulatory support needs. Melissa is a co-chair of the UK HealthCare APP Well-Being Committee, serves on the organizational well-being alliance, and established an APP mentorship program for the organization.
