My name is Dr John Pappachan. I am a consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care and Anaesthesia at Southampton Children’s Hospital, with over 20 years’ experience, and an Associate Professor at the University of Southampton. I was previously a Consultant in Anaesthetics and Adult Intensive Care at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.

I have sat on the Council of the Paediatric Intensive Care Society, have been Co-applicant or Chief Investigator on over 10 national multicentre PICU studies and have over 100 peer reviewed publications.
