Mojdeh Heavner, PharmD, BCCCP, FCCM, FCCP, is a Professor within the Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research (PSHOR) department at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (UMSOP). She is the Assistant Dean for Experiential Learning and has previously served as the Vice Chair for Clinical Services in the PSHOR department. She is also Coordinator for the pharmacotherapy residency program in collaboration with the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Mojdeh received a B.S. in Physiology & Neurobiology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and Doctor of Pharmacy from UMSOP. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency and a combined PGY2 in critical care and solid organ transplant at Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH). She subsequently worked at YNHH as a MICU Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Supervisor of Clinical Pharmacy Services, and Director for the critical care pharmacy residency program. Mojdeh has been at UMSOP since 2016 and practiced for several years as a MICU Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She currently practices as a Critical Care Pharmacist on the Johns Hopkins Medicine Post-Acute COVID-19 Team.
Mojdeh is the Chair-Elect and was previously Secretary/Treasurer and Member-at-Large for the Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacology Section of SCCM. She is the Chair of the LEAD Committee.
