Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
Mark Weber is a pediatric critical care nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in pediatric critical care. A recognized leader in his field, he was awarded the National Advanced Practice Provider of the Year in 2021 and named the Janet Pettit Scholar in Pediatric and Neonatal Vascular Access in 2024.
His leadership is evident in his contributions to vascular access and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) practices. He has delivered numerous invited lectures at international conferences on pediatric vascular access and harm prevention. Additionally, he has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, invited editorials, and book chapters on these topics.
Mark has secured several grants to advance biomedical technologies that promote safe vascular access practices. Beyond his work in vascular access, he is actively involved in the international education of POCUS, with multiple publications in this field. He currently serves as the Chair of the Pediatric Ultrasound Course for the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
