Ann and Robert H Lurie Childrens Hospital of Chicago

Lauren Sorce PhD, RN, CPNP-AC/PC, FCCM, is the Senior Director Nursing Research and Operations and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Sorce is the Senior Scientist and faculty, Division of Pediatric Critical Care, Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. She practiced as a pediatric nurse practitioner in pediatric critical care for more than 25 years and has been a member of SCCM for more than 20 years. Her current research is focusing on the microbiome in acute and critically ill children. Dr. Sorce is the SCCM Immediate Past President.
