Jessica Downing, MD (she/her/hers)

University of Maryland Medical Center, Maryland

Jessica Downing, MD, is an attending physician in the Critical Care Resuscitation Unit at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center (STC) at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and in the Intensive Care Unit at University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center, an academically affiliated community hospital outside of Washington, DC. She completed her fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at STC in 2023 and her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland in 2021. Her research interests include advanced hemodynamic support, intermediate and high-risk pulmonary embolism, and health equity in critical care.
