Dr. Tegtmeyer is a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He has clinical interests in mechanical ventilation and resuscitation. He is founder of the Medialab at Cincinnati Childrens which produces 3D models and animations that have been used to make animations with over 20 million cumulative views on Youtube, iOS and android apps including Heartpedia, and in AR and VR applications. He has co-authored 8 videos in clinical medicine in the New England Journal of Medicine. Provided clinical videos for the PALS course, and edited the 2006 Neonatal Resuscitation Program DVD-ROM. Since 2020 he has been the Medical Director of the Center for Telehealth at CCHMC
