Dr.Eduardo Mireles-Cabodevila serves as the Vice Chair of the Department of Critical Care Medicine and the Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the Cleveland Clinic. His areas of clinical interest are critical care medicine, application of mechanical ventilation, acute and chronic respiratory failure, neuromuscular diseases affecting the lungs and extracorporeal life support. Dr. Mireles-Cabodevila has a special interest in education in critical care, and in specific on the use of simulation to enhance and accelerate learning. He is currently the Medical Director of the Simulation and Advanced Skills Center. He has developed, along with the Critical Care Simulation team, several courses and devices to enhance the training of our health care providers.
