Brian T. Wessman, MD, FACEP, FCCM is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine at Washington Univeristy in Saint Louis, School of Medicine (WUSTL). He is the current Division Chief of Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Medicine and the Program Director for their well-known multidisciplinary Critical Care Medicine felllowship. Brian completed medical school at the Medical College of Virginia followed by residency and fellowhip training at WUSTL. His research interests include fellowship curriculum design, end of life issues for the critically-ill, and applications of critical care medicine in the emergency department setting. He is married to Jennifer Wessman, a Pediatric Hospitalist with WUSTL. They are the proud parents of 4 children: Dakin (13), Ryker (11), Nollie (9), and Saxon (7).
