Mindy Dickerman, MD, FAAP, FAAHPM has practiced as a pediatric critical care physician and a pediatric palliative care physician since she completed her fellowship training In 2009. She is currently the Division Chief of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Division at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Delaware (NCH). Prior to this, she served as the Director of Education and the Associate Program Director for the Critical Care Medicine fellowship in the Division of CCM. She has served in hospital leadership positions as the Co-Chair for the NCH Ethics and Patient Rights Committee and the Clinical Lead for Schwartz Rounds. She is most interested in developing curriculum and standardized processes to incorporate palliative care in the pediatric intensive care unit, specifically surrounding communicating with families and end of life care.
