Phillip Cohen (MD, MSc., MHS) is a T32 Research Fellow in Pediatric Critical Cardiopulmonary Disease in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine/Johns Hopkins Children's Center (JHCC) in Baltimore, MD. A graduate of the MHS in Clinical Investigation through the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health's Graduate Training Program in Clinical Investigation, Dr. Cohen's research focuses on improving delivery of critical care for the benefit of patients, parents, and providers. Accordingly, his T32 research focuses on transfer processes of chronically critically ill NICU patients to the PICU. He has additionally been awarded the Pediatric Sedation Research Consortium Grant (2025) to investigate the effects of Child Life specialist presence on procedural sedation, and is an integral member of the new JHCC Pediatric Sedation Service,
