Shoshana Rudin, MD is an emergency physician and a current critical care fellow at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Rudin's clinical interests lie in management of complex cardiogenic and mixed shock, mechanical circulatory support, and the CTICU patient population. Dr. Rudin's academic work focuses on medical education, including simulation and curriculum design, at the UGME and GME level, as well as cognitive load theory and its impacts on clinical teaching and professional development. Outside of work, she can frequently be found doing craft projects, hiking in national parks, reading science fiction, fantasy, and nonfiction, and trying out exciting culinary techniques as an avid home chef.
