Natalie Greer, PharmD is a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident and Chief Resident at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Union University College of Pharmacy in 2024, graduating as class president and earning recognition for leadership and academic excellence. Dr. Greer completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Methodist University Hospital, where she developed expertise in adult internal medicine, critical care, and emergency medicine. Her PGY1 research included a medication use evaluation on antimicrobial prescribing in chronic osteomyelitis and a retrospective analysis of n-acetylcysteine in liver transplant recipients. She has presented her work at regional and national conferences, including the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and also has two peer-reviewed publications.
In her PGY2 year, Dr. Greer leads projects evaluating parenteral nutrition prescribing patterns and the impact of dexmedetomidine on ICU sedation outcomes. She precepts pharmacy students, attends multidisciplinary rounds, and contributes to protocol development in critical care. A dedicated advocate for the profession, Dr. Greer is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and Mid-South College of Pharmacy. Upon completing her residency in June 2026, Dr. Greer aims to secure a position as a clinical pharmacy specialist in critical care at an academic medical center, with a focus on education, nutrition support, and quality improvement.
