Arsalan is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. His current work includes understanding how work-as-envisioned differs from work-as-performed on how time-limited trials are conducted in several health systems and in understanding how the introduction of AI technologies changes the nature of tasks. He has also served in various roles in the UW-Madison student chapter of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
