Dr. Faruqui has over 20 years experience working as clinical pharmacy specialist in Critical Care. She has also served in clinical roles for the liver transplant/ heart failure / stroke/ ID services. She is an adjunct faculty at Rutgers School of Pharmacy, Fairleigh Dickinson University and St. John’s University. She graduated with Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Florida, Gainesville and has been the recipient of Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties Certification. She was gold medalist (earned highest clinical distinction) in all the years of the undergraduate program.
She has worked on multiple hospital clinical/quality improvement/ regulatory projects and research poster on local/national level. She also has been instrumental in guidelines/policies/ hospital ordersets development, and staff education besides serving on multiple pharmacy/hospital committees. She is dedicated to providing the best patient care by integrating evidence based medicine, being cost effective, and promoting medication safety. Outside work, she regularly volunteers to the help the underserved/ refugees and enjoys working for the communicy outreach programs.
