Dr. Roxana Amirahmadi is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland and the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. She recently completed her Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Maryland and her Critical Care Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Originally from Princeton, New Jersey, Dr. Amirahmadi is passionate about medical education, particularly how to teach and sustain complex clinical skills that are difficult to master or tend to decay over time. Her academic interests also include examining how patient load and crisis conditions affect healthcare workforce performance and care delivery. In addition to her academic and clinical work, she serves as a preceptor for nationwide ventilator management and numeracy training courses, advancing critical care education across diverse clinical settings.
